Welcome to Solstice Cats! Established in 2021, we are a TICA & CFA registered cattery dedicated to the health and wellbeing of our beloved feline companions. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our thorough health testing for all our adult cats, ensuring they are free from any genetic health issues, heart problems, or hip issues.

We proudly offer Maine Coons and a special hybrid breed known as the Ragcoon. We are working with our friend Equinox Cats to bring you this popular hybrid cat breed. Why the Ragcoon? Maine Coons are known for their large size and curious personalities, while Ragdolls are characterized by their unique faces and relaxed demeanor, often going “limp” when held. The combination of these two breeds results in a distinctive cat that is large and calm. Maine Coon Ragdoll mixes possess an intelligent and observant nature, making them easy to train and adaptable—ideal traits for any pet. Their calm demeanor means they enjoy cuddling and spending time with their families. These cats are typically friendly and experience less fear and anxiety than many others.

 

Breeding Maine Coons with Ragdolls can also introduce beautiful color points, as well as cinnamon and chocolate hues, enhancing the Maine Coon's traditional look while maintaining their impressive size. While these mixes require attention and mental stimulation, they tend to become more relaxed as they grow older, making them excellent companions for families and individuals alike.​
