Every Solstice litter begins with a thoughtfully planned pairing chosen for health, temperament, structure, and breed preservation. This page shares the parents, projected traits, important dates, and updates throughout the litter’s development. Once kittens have been born and individually evaluated, each will receive their own dedicated profile page.

Emmie and Gus have been bred for an anticipated November 2026 litter. If pregnancy is confirmed, kittens are expected around November 4, 2026.

This pairing brings together Emmie’s beautiful black tortie coloring with Gus’s striking black smoke and polydactyl genetics. We are especially excited about the variety possible from this pairing, including black, red, and tortie kittens, smoke, with both standard-paw and polydactyl kittens possible.

Pregnancy confirmation is pending. All projected colors and traits are genetic possibilities and are not guaranteed until the kittens arrive.

Emmie and Gus were thoughtfully paired to complement one another in temperament, structure, and breed type. Emmie is a beautiful black tortie female with a sweet, affectionate personality and lovely Maine Coon type. Gus is a striking black smoke polydactyl male with substantial bone, strong features, and the wonderfully social temperament we value in our breeding program. Both parents have undergone comprehensive health testing as part of our commitment to producing healthy, well-socialized Maine Coons with stable temperaments and correct breed type. We are especially excited about the combination of Emmie’s rich tortie coloring and Gus’s dramatic smoke coat, along with the possibility of both standard-paw and polydactyl kittens. This pairing offers a beautiful combination of color, structure, and personality, and we are excited to see what Emmie and Gus produce together.

Expected Colors:

This pairing may produce black, black smoke, red, red smoke, black tortie, and black smoke tortie kittens. Male kittens may be black, black smoke, red, or red smoke, while females may be black, black smoke, black tortie, or black smoke tortie. Kittens may inherit either solid or smoke coats, depending on genetic inheritance.

With Gus being polydactyl, both standard-paw and polydactyl kittens are possible.

We anticipate this pairing will produce kittens with substantial bone, strong Maine Coon features, expressive faces, large ears with beautiful furnishings, and long, flowing coats. Both Emmie and Gus have affectionate, people-oriented temperaments, and our goal is to produce kittens that carry those same confident and social qualities. A beautiful range of colors is possible, including black, black smoke, red, red smoke, black tortie, and black smoke tortie. Gus is also polydactyl, giving this litter the possibility of both standard-paw and polydactyl kittens. As always, our focus extends far beyond appearance. Health, temperament, structure, and correct Maine Coon breed type remain at the center of every pairing we plan.

Solstice Main Coons are on top of everything that deals with their kittens to cats; paperwork well organized; optimized turn over of health care insurance; healthy foods feed to them.  She has been with us for a month, 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 months and is already bigger than her 2 and 4 yr old sisters.

I started my journey of wanting my dream mainecoon kitten, terrified of being scammed and losing hope of finding a legit/trustworthy breeder. Then I found Solstice, and Tiffany. I could write a novel on why her cattery is the best—truly.
Tiffany is a true gem of a human, and from the start, made sure I felt more than reassured with my hundreds of questions. She’s so communicative through the entire process—including after purchase! She truly loves each of her babies, and has made sure any questions or changes we had were walked through with her guidance—her knowledge of the breed is extensive! When I have taken them to the vet, her thorough paperwork, genetic testing, and vaccine records are praised heavily! My vet stated, “this is incredible, and how it’s supposed to be!”
To truly drive home how much I loved my experience with Solstice, being a repeat customer should speak for itself—I now own 6 of her mainecoon kittens! The way Tiffany raises her kittens in her home, surrounded by family and children, creates the BEST babes. Not even one of my kittens needed “transition” time—they just jump right into loving everyone and everything! They’re just simply, wonderful!

We adopted a member of the cosmic chaos litter, and it's clear that she's a well socialized, confident, happy and healthy kitten. She's laying on my chest as i type this, and we couldn't be happier to have her in our family. We were kept updated the whole time with pictures, emails, and texts; and it's clear that these kittens are truly cared for from the care guides, supplies, and support theyre sent home with.

Tiffany facetimed us the same day we expressed interest and was able to chat with us right away about the kittens, and stayed just as steady and available a support throughout the entire process. I recently lost my cat of 14 years and had gone back and forth about getting another. After going to Solstice’s website for the 100th time and looking at Sol, I decided to reach out. From the first time I reached out about Sol, to getting her home, Tiffany was amazing. She was so informal and made the process so easy! Sol (our kitty) is so sweet and has the best temperament. She was so calm riding in the car, she’s very affectionate and has no problem hanging out with our three children. By the second day home, we already had her outside harness training. It’s apparent Tiffany put lots of love and time into raising such a wonderful kittens. I’m so impressed by the socialization Sol has had. She didn’t shy away from any of the family and took right to our other cat in the home. Sol has already stolen our hearts and greatly softened the grief of losing Niklaus. Tiffany was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating throughout the whole process. As a wheelchair user, I was worried about how I would bond and interact with my kitten, but Tiffany went above and beyond to make sure everything would be a good fit for me.

One of the sweetest things she did was teach my kitten how to shoulder sit, which has made such a difference for me. It has helped me feel more connected to my kitten, and it is honestly one of my favorite things about him. You can tell Tiffany truly cares about her kittens and the families they are going to.
